STA Transport Solutions runs private day tours from Cape Town to the most spectacular destinations in the Western Cape — the Cape Peninsula, Cape Winelands, Hermanus Whale Coast and surrounds. Unlike shared group bus tours, our tours are completely private: just your group and a professional driver-guide who knows these roads, their history and their hidden viewpoints.

The Cape Peninsula full-day tour takes you along the Atlantic Seaboard, over Chapman's Peak Drive, down to the Cape of Good Hope — the south-western tip of Africa — and back via the African penguin colony at Boulders Beach in Simon's Town. The route covers about 180 km and takes 8–10 hours depending on stops.

The Cape Winelands tour takes you through Stellenbosch, Franschhoek and Paarl — three of South Africa's most celebrated wine regions. With a private driver, everyone in your party can taste freely. We typically visit 3–4 estates across the day, with time for lunch at an estate restaurant.

Both tours depart from your Cape Town hotel or Airbnb and return you there at the end of the day. All entrance fees, tastings and meals are paid at each venue on your own account — this lets you choose your pace, your estates and your budget without any packages or mark-ups.
